A basic trainer made in the early 1950's for the US Army and sold to Saudi Arabia as well.
The IAF purchased the plane in 1948. Despite its good performance and maneuverability, it did not meet the IAF's standards for a basic instruction plane, primarily because of its folding landing gear, which made flying it more complex.
The plane served for liaison flights in the Light Squadron for a very short period, and was retired in 1949.
